Property tax makes property ownership impossible. If you are required to pay taxes on a property, you do not own it; the state/county/ISD owns it. Don't believe it? Stop paying your taxes and your landlord will evict you.

Absolutely! I was upset that the attempt to repeal prop tax in Texas didn't get off the ground.
