Texas Secession to be Reviewed by White House

Fair enough---Many of the former republics of the Soviet Union retained the miitary assets in their newly created countries. It would have to be worked out. As for the Houston Space Flight Center, since we no longer have a manned space program, its future is not bright and will also have to be negotiated. It is true that many of the illegal aliens entered through Texas but, sadly, it is the Federal Government that has prevented Texas and Arizona from protecting its borders. Shouldn't illegal aliens return to their country of origin?

If she bolts, I may move there. I would be a loyal Constitutionalist and defender of the Founding Fathers principles. Even Ron Paul would be there!!! Yiipee!

It appears, Texas, that we share many of the same thoughts.

I said Real Conservatives would arise and take care of things. Glad to see you.

The idea of Texas seceding from the Union is a long time joke, but a secession petition on WhiteHouse.gov has received enough signatures to be seriously reviewed by the White House.

This isn't quite the equivalent of the Declaration of Independence, but in the digital age, you could say it's similar.
