House GOP Takes Alternate Gun Bill Path

This is all part of the plan, ie get the hapless Repubs to sign on to a mental health option, where anyone who has ever taken an anti-depressant for any reason will no longer be eligible to own a gun, and those that do will face confiscation. It is already happening in New York and Colorado, and it is coming to a state near you as quickly a lib can redefine "Mental Health Issue". So even if you are a mom who has gone through post-partem depression, a spouse who has lost a loved partner, or a parent who lost a child, or whatever, and you have been convinced by your doctor to take any kind of antidepressant, you will no longer be able to own a gun. It is insidious, it is progressive, and it is happening right before our eyes.

Jonah, sometimes I just don't get you. Christi is not and never will be conservative as he has proved over and over. So why would a "conservative" gathering be enhanced by the mans' presence. You guys in conservative media who claim to be conservative need to face reality. Neither Christi nor GoProud can be considered anything close to conservative, while both are actively undermining the movement they are supposedly in support of. Why not ask Bill Clinton to show too, after all he passed welfare reform at one point? We have ideological differences with these guys. Why in your mind should we be the compromisers and offer the hand of friendship to these guys when we know they are going to bite it the first time we look away? Wake up bud!

You should change your name to "lies001", it would be more fitting. The Tea Party was bought and paid for by no one. We understand that the rich already pay a higher percentile of their income than the rest of America. We also understand that taxing them at the levels the Dems are demanding, will only pay for this out of control spending government for 11 days. I personally would like to see a flat tax on everyone in America, regardless of the income level. If everyone has some skin in the game you can be sure that things will change. How about starting at 10% and no loopholes allowed. (By the way I live at the poverty level and have for a while now, and I wouldn't mind this deal at all.) So it would be painful, but extremely fair.

No, it's an example of the perils of greed, not riches. He wasn't disparaging wealth, he was disparaging the love of money, (ie. greed). There can only be one God in our lives. If money is your "God" you will not be able to bow your knee to the one true God, El Shadai, Therefor entrance into heaven would be as difficult as getting the camel through the eye of the needle, (which by the way is a reference to a very small gate into the city of Jerusalem's wall that gave access to people in and out of the city, but made it difficult for enemies to enter enmasse).

Miles is a professional troll. Just cutting and pasting his way into his paycheck while living in mom's cellar. Doesn't make any sense in many of his posts, but that doesn't keep him from pasting away. I'm guessing he is about 43, has not held a decent job for most of his adult life, and hasn't had a real girlfriend in just as long. All day long he sits and accuses conservatives of the very beliefs he believes to his core. That is what democrats have come to, projection. It's all they have left, isn't it Miles39.
Why is everyone, including the "conservative press", ignoring Broadwell's assertion that militants were being held there, and also that the embassy was being used as a conduit for arms being supplied by our government to Al Quida operatives with the express purpose of overthrowing the Syrian government. That is the crux of this whole insane episode, the smoking gun so to speak of the Obama's administration treasonous and impeachable offenses. It is so much bigger than a simple politically CYA lying episode. If we allow them to frame this as a simple misrepresentation to protect national security as it seems they are trying to do, we have lost the argument completely. Why is Ms Broadwell not on the stand right along with her John, Patraeus?

MultiCultist, the Palestinians, which is a fictitious construct in itself, have never wanted peace with Israel. It has been offered on numerous occasions and they have rejected it outright. They were even offered land and territory to make their own state, but they rejected the offer, because their only reason for existence is to keep things roiled in Israel, until the Arabs can wipe Israel off the map. Trying to equate their struggle with our revolution is a typical liberal equivalency argument, lamely attempting to hide the hard facts that they will never agree to peace as long as Israel exists. There is plenty of land outside of Israel that Arab countries could easily repatriate them into as they are all Arab refuges.

The government is upon God's shoulders. He is the one who places our leaders. A country that has killed over 50,000,000 babies on the alter of selfishness deserves no better than what we have gotten. We think we deserve God's blessing while turning a blind eye to such injustice...amazing. Countries rise and fall with the tide of their own morality, and when any government rejects God and strikes Him from their society, they crumble. I hope that it is not too late to salvage, but my heart is burdened with our present state. The United States, I believe, is in the beginning stages of judgement. I only hope that we wake up before it hits full bore.
