Be ready for a Romney avalanche. These polls are so skewed. The only poll that counts is the one when you go to the voting booth. Tuesday night was a version of what's to come. TEA PARTY MOVEMENT alive and well.

Remember, Reagan was still DOWN 10 pts. a week before elections in 1980.

When the votes were case, Reagan beat Carter by 10 pts.

The polls were 10 POINTS OFF A WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION.

Today, Romney is a little ahead of o in PA, OH, and FL, nearly tied in many others, and only off a pt or 2 in all except NJ where o has a 12 pt. lead. If the polls are this close now, I suspect Romney is really ahead almost every where, because the pollsters use voting rolls for polling and more people are reg'd Dem. than Rep. And polls of just the reg'd voters are even less reliable than polls of LIKELY voters. Look at those.
Just as the political air is filled with talk of the inevitability of Barack Obama's re-election -- we are told that the kids at his Chicago headquarters are brimming with confidence -- in come some poll numbers showing him behind.

Not by anything statistically significant, mind you. But when you get the Gallup and Rasmussen tracking polls and the Politico/George Washington University Battleground poll all showing Mitt Romney leading Obama by 1 point, an Obama victory seems far from inevitable.
