Kenny Z sez: Scared White folks?
I'm not a scared White folk. I'm an angry White folk
===

I'm white too. I'm just pointing out the obvious.... which is that the Tea Party is the new Ross Perot party that killed Bush senor's chances to get re-elected. In the end it will only serve to defeat the Republican candidate and put another Bill Clinton in office or re-elect Obama.

I don't really want that... I'm just stating the obvious.

It's an angry negative party of white folk - just look at all the photographs. They are against so many things that if there is something positive buried in their doctrine, it's too deep to find. Have you or anyone else READ the 28 points of their policy? I did. The first 1/4 of...
Origanalist .... out of curiousity... do you trust the Federal government?

Do you think our elected officials make decisions based on what is good for their voters OR....

do they do favors for business and special interest groups who fund their campaigns, to the tune of 1 TRILLION dollars in the last decade, give them free rides in corporate jets and vacations at their resorts, and give them stock tips, like Hillary got when she turned $1 thousand dollars into $100,000 on cattle futures and called it beginners luck??? AND give them very lucrative jobs as lobbyist when the retire from political office?

Who's interest do you think they serve?

Can you explain WHY 1% of population has accumulated MORE wealth...

Quit making sense, you're screwing up a perfectly good defeatist mentality.

Oh I'm FAR from defeated.

Here is the problem. Unless you REALLY know just how sick and close to dying the patient is, your mild treatment will be inadequate to save him.

Our government NEEDS strong medicine. If you can't see that you will go down with the ship.

I've got real solutions. fixthegovernment.com

1. IRS regulates all federal spending with authority!

2. Antitrust laws expanded and enforced to regulate profit MARGAINS on all businesses that provide ESSENTIAL goods and services

3. Trade tariffs to establish trade neutrality

4. IMMEDIATELY stop...

Take the spending decisions away from Congress and require every taxpayer's dollar the federal government spends to be audited by the IRS with authority to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse BEFORE checks are written.

Congress is like corrupt refs who are paid by gamblers. They make decisions based on self gain and the oucome is that big business buys influences and manipulates markets to cheat consumers.

We don't put up with this nonsense in sports. It would destroy the intregrity fo the game. So why do we allot it in government? Isn't government even MORE important?

It's hard to exactly pinpoint the beginning of the post American period. It's not difficult to see that the federal government has passed the tipping point but when do you call it "post" ???

I would guess that point in time comes when people riot in the streets (on a national level) and anarchy reaches the point like it did in New Orleans when law enforcement realized they were overrun and went home to take care of their families?

Just watch Greece as it slides into anarchy. The first major indication is the lines at the gas pumps. We'll have BIG lines and prices will be sky high since we import 63% of the fuel we use. Foreign countries aren't going to give it to us if the dollar fails to high levels of...

50 years...hummm

Is there even enough political courage in government to just balance the budget... how will the 14 trillion debt ever be addressed?

How should we go about minimizing the misery and suffering of the next generation? By immediately removing certain entitlement expectations. By cutting spending across the board with no exceptions. If we can't afford it, then we can't have it.

They can't. Anyway it won't be enough. Our...

We should get off our fat lazy complacent hines and sweep out the corruption.

Every politician I've know ran on that platform, sweep out corruption, but none did it. See the movie O Brother How Art Thou.

Since congress is spineless and can't resist the bribes they are offered, they should just man up and put the IRS in charge of eliminating waste, fraud and abuse from all government spending. According to a through congressional study of spending, almost $1 out of ever 4 does not help anyone whatsoever.

Does anyone know WHO corrupted...
Just look at the pictures, they say it all. The Tea party is fundamentally scared white folks that want the government to protect them from Mexicans (except the ones that come here and harvest their food, trim their lawns and care for their babies) ...they do not understand that the enemy is big business running the federal government and the corruption it breeds to cheat consumers in every way possible. And they themselves vote with their dollars to send Americas wealth to China and Saudi Arabia.

The government has already passed the tipping point and is on a steep glide slope to economic failure which is the foundation for freedom and national defense.

Our only immediate course of action to slow the process is to...
Veg sez: Is it a bit premature to discuss how the debt is to be serviced? At the moment interest on the debt is over four hundred billion dollars a year! That number isn't going down anytime soon.

I think it's soon enough to start discussions on the matter. Better us now than our children later.

Even now is probably too late. And WE will see the consequences. The real question is what to do that may minimize the misery and suffering of the next generation.

The Congressional Budget office put out a report in 09 that said the interest on the debt alone would bankrupt the Federal government in 29 years. The didn't even include the extra 1.8 billion deficit in this year's budget.

1.2 million Iraqis have met violent deaths since the 2003 invasion, the highest estimate of war-related fatalities yet. The study was done by the British polling firm ORB, which conducted face-to-face interviews with over 1,700 Iraqi adults in 15 of Iraq's 18 provinces.
