Long Wars Aren't Working

"Why do our modern wars take so long?" Because, since Viet Nam, wars have been micro-managed and over-regulated by politicians in DC.... Don't shoot until they shoot you first; bomb this, but not that; 10,000 troops will do where 30,000 are needed; and on and on. In truth, these morons in Washington are personally responsible for more deaths and more money wasted than anyone, and all because of politics. If we decide to go to war, tell the military who we want defeated, give them the necessary means and get the he ll out of their way. If we can't do this and trust the military to do its job, then don't go. Once the decision to wage war is made, politics has no place until it's finished, except for necessary oversight.
"Board members whacked the Jesus holidays because they did not want to disrespect or be insensitive to the Muslim community."(the minority) So instead, they are disrespectful and insensitive to everyone else and call it fair. It's the same old progressive story which plays out in all walks of life. Instead of trying to give people something they want and don't have, take that something away from those who do have it so NO ONE has it and everyone is then "equal." So, you see, "fair" and "equal" don't mean what you thought they did and tolerance is a one way street.
Here's two quotes from Joseph Stalin to bear in mind when examining Common Core: "Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and to whom it is aimed" "America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold; Its Patriotism, its Moralty, and its Spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."
"he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and a third time, till at length".... he becomes a politician.
"... prosecutors there (NJ) don't make exceptions for honest mistakes." Help me out here. Is New Jersey part of Mexico??
He's using the word to mean "uncover" a striking contrast. Faked me out at first, too.
I believe that most people in the U.S. do not care about our $17.5 trillion debt because almost none of us has ever dealt with numbers that large and cannot relate to it. Here's some context that may help to understand: If you took 17.5 trillion $1 bills and stacked them flat, how tall would the stack be? I will bet less than 1% will be even close. The stack would be over 1,100,000 MILES high! (Bear in mind, a $1 bill is about the same thickness as a hair on your head.) One more example: If $17.5 trillion were divided equally among all the inhabitants of Earth, each man, woman and child on the planet would receive over $2,400! Those who tell you the debt isn't important are the same people who will tax you, regulate you and control you into oblivion. Ignorance manipulation is their favorite tool.
I don't think there's room for a transcript of an almost 12 minute speech.
