Is the Church Militant Back?

The liberal Church militant is tired of conservative bishops such as Tobin, Burke, Dolan, and Chaput trying to force Catholic moral behavior on those not in their flock nor under the jurisdiction of their heavy-handed and vindictive crosiers. Catholic politicians such a Patrick Kennedy (in the tradition of his venerable uncle, John) have made the point that public servants and officials in a multi-religious and multi-cultural democracy such as ours need to take into account the moral beliefs of non-Catholics in passage of laws affecting all Americans.
