Apparently you, enough to comment. Are you saying the Lance Armstrong scandal is not newsworthy? I'm with Armstrong on this. I'm full of forgiveness, but this guy betrayed everyone, and only "came clean" when it was the only option to resuscitate his career. For now, I'm not buying it. Neither is Greg LeMond, a guy who knows him as well as anybody.

You're right, Lance Armstrong needs to return all settlement monies he fraudulently obtained - and hope he's not counter sued.

It's "Lyle Alzado" (nose tackle - Browns, Raiders) who died from steroid use. That's why I don't care about athletes who violate performance enhancement rules - natural selection ultimately can't be cheated.

Lance Armstrong actually does "have" a bike shop.

forgive him when he gives back the $600000.00 he got for defamation when he sued a newspaper who accused him of doping, lied ' (called perjury?)and won. Forgive him, he'll be laughing at you all the home to his mansion. He' s a liar and a joke. Go start a bike shop,oh I forgot he only rides bikes . And I'm sorry about his cancer, but don't forget, doping and steriods will cause cancer , just ask Lyle Asatos the football star, oh I forgot he's dead, died of cancer.

When I say "I'm with Armstrong", I mean the author of this article, not the defrocked athlete...

Another day. Another scandal. Another high-profile celebrity sits on Oprah’s couch to express contrition and to try to resuscitate his image. Today it’s Lance Armstrong, but tomorrow it will be someone else, which is why I believe it’s time to say enough. No more free passes for our children’s role models.

I don’t know Lance Armstrong personally, but apparently nobody else really does either. What I did know was the same constructed fairy tale that he sold all of us: the inspirational story of a young cyclist who nearly died from cancer and was resurrected through the miracles of modern medicine...
