And this applies to this article how? Do you have anything to say regarding the liberals' effort to smear and destroy Cain without any reliable evidence? This is nothing more than an information operations campaign to dupe the public into question Cain's character and qualifications and destroy his chances BEFORE there's any possibility of him winning the nomination and running against the President in the election. Often, the first message that gets out in the press is deemed the most credible message, even if it later turns out to be inaccurate or even blatantly false.

Proud,

You need to understand, Conservative does NOT equal Republican. You accuse people who disagree with your point of view of being Republicans, but I don't know that anyone here actually claimed to be Republican.

I'm a firm believer that if Congress enacts a Defense bill, it should ONLY have defense spending in it. I'm pretty sick of Congressmen on BOTH sides of the aisle adding unrelated amendments to bills simply because that's the ONLY way their amendments and pet projects will pass. I also believe the rules in Congress should change. Any Congressman who wants to propose an earmark or amendment MUST present it openly on the floor of their respective house vice slipping it in under the cover of conference...

You need to head to Wal-Mart to try to buy a clue. You either weren't alive during the Carter years or were so high on drugs that they're nothing but a blissful haze in your memory. Carter and his ineptitude brought us double-digit interest rates, double-digit inflation, high unemployment, the Iran hostage crisis, and a degraded "hollow force" military. All Obama is trying to do is resurrect Carter's miserable failure with a vengeance. Carter on steroids. This current regime is like the inverse of BASF.

"I didn't make the Carter policies that sucked. I took the Carter policies that sucked and made them worse."

REGIME CHANGE IN NOVEMBER 2010!!! Change we can believe in!!

The only difference between Olbermann and a bucket of horse manure is the bucket. This no-talent butt pirate wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him right square in the forehead. The last time Olbermann said something remotely humorous or true was when he was on ESPN Sportscenter 10+ years ago, and that's only because he had Dan Patrick and Kenny Mayne to tee things up for him. Looking to Olbermann for meaningful, insightful commentary is like asking Mike Tyson and Lawrence Phillips for advice on how to be successful.....asking Walter Mondale how to run a successful Presidential campaign.....asking the owner of the LA Clippers the secret to winning NBA championships.
Ann nails it with this article. Free market competition and getting the government OUT of the health care industry will greatly reduce costs and improve options for customers. The other piece is tort reform. Here in St. Claire County Illinois, some doctors have closed up their practices, moved east to the next county over and CUT their malpractice premiums by $65,000 a year. Tort reform worked everywhere it's been enacted: Texas, Mississippi, Missouri, etc. Enact tort reform and free up insurance companies to sell across all states and we'll solve most of the problems with health care in this country. Let's also STOP calling this a health care "crisis." There's no crisis. That's just alarmist melodrama cooked up by the...
