Prop 30 -- Delphic Oracle Pronouncement

Ah! The beauties of the physical California...mountains, beaches, high deserts, vast forests, and great rivers...and chumps for citizens. I admit to missing those wonderous attributes...but not the chumps. Florida has no income tax, low sales tax and is a right to work state. It is great to be back rooting for the Gators again. Oh, and we have a Republican Governor and Republican controlled Legislature. C'mon down!

Both my wife and myself, retirees, are licensed realtors in the State of Florida. We see no light at the end of the housing tunnel here, not even a faint glow. Almost all sales here are to foreign buyers, for cash, investing in the still existing overhang, or if citizens, buying through FHA with Bernanki funny-money, a reprise of what was a contributory cause of the recent collapse. We live now on our Social Security only in lieu commisions. Perhaps the light will go on with a new Federal Administration?

Diplomatic Security in Light of Benghazi

After this article, there just may be a fall-off of applications to become a Foreign Service Officer. That would also likely be reinforced by the obvious obfuscation, if not outright falsehoods, about the Benghazi debacle promulgated by the Obama Administration.

Largely unremarked in economic reports is real inflation. The fake number now reported by the FedGov is missing prices for foodstuffs and energy. That little omission commenced in 2009 I believe. As both are an essential and central cost of everyone's living costs, the voting public is being deprived of one of their most important economic indicators. Somehow this needs to be exposed before the election for the voters to have a real measure oif the economic disaster that has been visited on the USA by Obama's policies, ( intended or not ). The MSM won't touch it.

One is left wondering how the college students, and recent grads, can swoon over Obama for another election cycle. All too many recent grads can not find employment, unless a science or engineering major, and the yet-to-graduate can see this. Are we to expect them to be the protesters against Obama's policy results if they help him be re-elected?
