Kevin, I am extremely concerned that Obama will win re-election. He has the teachers, government workers, and many, many useful idiots. And don't forget the dead. They still vote. Ted
I never heard of this guy Chris Hayes before. Now his audience will grow for a week or two and he will sign a new bigger contract. Is this a great country or what. He would have gotten a bigger raise if he dumpped on Rush. I never what MSNBC as I was cured of that illness long ago.
RodT, thanks for your comments. The problem however, the voters are already awake. They vote for Dancing with the Stars, etc. They have been effectively dumbed down without an education. Yes, they have graduated from school but don't have a clue about life. Ted

I volunteer for a HIV/STD information and referral line. Planned Parenthood requires all clients to pay for STD and HIV testing. They also charge for STD treatment. There are agencies which test for HIV and STD's free. If Planned Parenthood is performing Mamogram and Pap smear screenings as they say, why not publish there financial records to see how much is paid by Planned Parenthood as part of their overall budget. Political???? You bet.

Raising taxes changes behavior. Both Maryland and New Jersey raised state taxes on high income earners and the following year both states received less income because the owners moved. Corporations have moved overseas and invest there because if the return their profits to the US to invest, the income, already taxed overseas is taxed again. So, the income stays overseas. It is our punitive tax policy which produces less income because our congress punishes success, not rewards it. If you cannot see that, then you are trapped in your own mind.

Dianne, do you hear what you said? A deal has to be made, or business will continue as usual. That is the problem, deals being made in the back room, like this is being done now; Six months ago, do you remember, they raised the debt limit for spending cuts in a "deal" and guess what, the cuts were imaginary. THis is the same deal, raise the limits, cut the deductions, and then the senate will negotiate the cuts. The Dems have been quoting Pres Reagan all week, but no one has quoted his best quote, Trust but verify. Time is running out, Time is running out, that is all the Democrats are saying. The house has pasted a real bill, the Senate has not looked at it. Dig in!!!!!

No one knows the harm this "agreement" will have. It makes the government the charity, which can come for your donations with a gun, and give your money to whomever they want.

How many ways to cut the pie? Only a politician can get 5 quarters out of a whole. Sen. Chambliss has moved back to his RINO status. A few years ago a rally at his office taught him that Illegal immigration is against the law. I voted against him in the primary butt for him in the general election. Time for a real primary challenge for Saxby. It is not Democrat, it is not Republoican, but when the other party lies and you negotiate, you know they will not keep their promise. I wills Saxby had a pair like Allen West.
