Eh - I don't know if I want to help Republicans anymore. They aren't particularly smart nor nice - at least the ones here at TH. They still don't get it about World Policing and hegemony nor do they get it about W's awful awful economic and foreign policies. Maybe they SHOULD go away and we can get Constitutional leadership instead.

Bush is one of the reasons I quit the Republican party and went back to being an Independent. He was a terrible president, but, compared to Obama, was a great president. Heck, even Jimmy Carter was a good president compared to Obama. But, I agree. The Republican party just isn't worth supporting these days. According to something I read a couple of weeks ago, the party thinks that the best thing for them to do is to emulate (my word) the Democrats and (again, my words) offer freebies to the leeches and parasites who want others to support them because they are too lazy to support themselves. Why have 2 parties? They're so much alike, they may as well merge. We pretty much have a 1-party system now, anyway.

And where would that come from? Every time someone pops up and is a constitutionalist, they get savaged by the media and have an early exit.

Will constitutional leadership come from democrats? Yeah, good luck with that. How about independants? Uh huh, their 17 votes will get swept under the rug in a nanosecond. I know, a third brand new party. Oh right, everyone falsley accuses the only ones out there of being right-wing racists.

So go ahead with your fantasy bro, let us know how that works out for you.

Yes I know we are all thinking, "2016 already?" But yes, 2016 already. Senator Rand Paul is interested in a run for the White House when President Obama makes his exit in four years.

Rand Paul, a pro-life member of the U.S. Senate from Kentucky who is the son of former presidential candidate Ron Paul, says he is potentially interested in seeking the Republican nomination in 2016.

“That’s classified,” Paul told ABC’s Jonathan Karl when asked if he intended to run. “Am I interested and thinking about that? Yes.”

“I’m not...
