So I can not see why the Republicans would agree to any increases of the rate for the earners at 200-250,000. Every tax affects those earners and elderly. Of course no one would listen to the Obamacare critics before the election. And the "super haves" at MSNBC do not care one bit for the achievers in this country. That wage bracket pays full price for college kids. They have spent three to four extra years in college for masters and doctorates at huge expense(unfunded or forgiven by the government).They have played by the rules and get the big "scr.. you".

Although some of the "fiscal cliff" taxes can be avoided through a deal made in Congress, new ObamaCare taxes are guaranteed to kick in on January 1, amounting to $268 billion tax hike. From Americans for Tax Reform:
