How Foreign is Our Policy?

as it was in the beginning of our country. The founding fathers allowed those with property holdings to vote. I say, those who pay the taxes should vote how to spend it.
raising wages just raises prices - inflation will be the reward. The cost of goods will go up accordingly, leaving no one to benefit, except the government, who will see payroll taxes increase. But then, isn't that the point Mr. Obama???

Mr. President: My Apologies

he's only sorry he was caught. If he was really sorry, he would have apologized for lying to the American people in order to get his way and win an election. Like what I heard today, "if you like your apology, you can keep it."
yup, we're right back where we were before the 2012 election. A lot of undecideds.

Dismantling America

good analogy!
My policy has been cancelled as of Jan. 1, 2014. I am part of an employer based early retiree plan. I live on a small pension. My healthcare costs have risen from $124 a month 3 years ago to $214 per month this year. I received my cancellation notice two days ago. What luck! I have an opportunity to get back MY EXACT SAME POLICY now and I ONLY have to pay DOUBLE what I spent this past year! Thanks, ObamaCare.
thanks for articulating what the GOP has, thus far, been unable to express.
Benefit lost to many Americans: employers pay 2/3 cost of healthcare. Employees pay 1/3. Now employers lower hours to 30 and pay NO health care cost, employee pays 100% (as they make just a little too much to get a subsidy)
GOP is standing up for the working poor. The ACA is a job killer that is raising cost of health care and lowering the quality of American health care. The working poor will pay more for premiums to pay for health care coverage they don't need and to pay for those who can't pay. The rich can afford the ACA. No one else can. I hope the GOP stays firm and stays together. We can't afford the ACA or to, yet again, raise th debt ceiling. And by the way, MAJORITY does not rule. Our founding fathers created a republic, with a constitution that supports individual freedom and abhorred the very idea of majority rule.
