Maybe if you had your head in a less smelly place, you might check our national debt WHEN THE DIMS got control of ALL of congress - that'd be 2007 to help you out. Bush went to congress around 20 times to get them to rein in fannie & freddie, starting in 2001. barney frank & cris todd lied multiple times, telling the national that they were in great shape (that's f & f, not barney and cris) and would need NO bail-out. The dims CONTROLLED ALL of congress 'til 2010. Check out what happened to our debt in that span. Bush didn't do much damage in that area than what he inhiered from clinton. I do realize the handicap you're under, and I doubt you'll put whatever effort you can to this research, butt..(to use one of barny's expressions)
