Government is supposed to be there supporting the basic services such as the aerial tankers, not for bullcrap entitlements and big government intrusion in our personal lives. Government was designed by the founders to provide for the protection of the country (defense) and provide these type of national services. But there are so many lefties with their hands out to get free stuff that the stuff government is SUPPOSED to do gets neglected.

Maybe if we tell the Dems that those tankers, when they're not fighting fires, can be used as an alternative method of distributing food stamps, they'd fall for it.
