Oh wow, Williams is like so totally racist against women. Doesn't he know that "gender-neutral" means getting an equal share of goodies and no bad stuff like work, effort, or risk?

YUP Let one get knocked up and it's gravytrain time..light duty and no consequences for conduct unbecoming. Some guy gets the shaft for having to pick up the slack, I've seen guys do back to back med cruises because the ladies found ways to become un deployable...we don't need them except where they have always performed well...Medical and clerical. And now they are allowing them on submarines, lotsa luck with that. I know GUYS who should never be allowed near tools, no less a submarine.

My Brother-in-law was crippled because the military thought it was prudent to put a woman in the Motor Pool with him and she wasn't strong enough to handle the trailer they were moving. It rolled him over and pinned him against the wall crushing his spine. There is no such things as non-physical labor in the Army. You want to sit at a desk go Air Force or Navy. Down there on the ground we live by the sweat of our brow and the stength of our backs.

I'd like to think the goal of the military should be to have the toughest, meanest fighting force possible. But let's look at "gender-neutral playing field."

The Army's physical fitness test in basic training is a three-event physical performance test used to assess endurance. The minimum requirement for 17- to 21-year-old males is 35 pushups, 47 situps and a two-mile run in 16 minutes, 36 seconds or less. For females of the same age,...
