What happened is that the RINOs went wild with spending, the Dims took over both houses of Congresses and 11 months later the recession began. The Dims and the RINOS rammed through bailouts and other crony socialist schemes and the economy still hasn't recovered. Americans don't want to be "led" they want to be represented -- there's a big difference. Conservatives and libertarians understand this. Big government RINOs don't.
