Anyone else out there tired of this kind of "Washington Insider" horse-race coverage of politics? How about talking about the actual benefits and hazards of competing policies and philosophies? Are people really fascinated with the hair-pulling contests that go on behind the stage at these TV shows, press rooms, political party offices, and government cloak rooms?

Tacitus, the progressives are doing anything and everything in their power to avoid laying their cards on the table and allowing the American people to campare and decide the best candidate for the job.
Why else would the Senate refuse to pass a budget? Why else would the administration refuse to detail their plans for a 2nd administration? Why else would Obama flat out refuse to run on his record in office?
The progressives will be toast in November.

Mr. Obama, please don't break any windows on your way out of the public housing you currently occupy in Jan of 2013.

Said the sage to me: "This is going to be the dirtiest presidential campaign in history." I would pass on my prescient friend's name, but he is a gentleman of high profile. It would be best if he were to continue his life unmolested by the Living Saint in the White House, whom a benighted majority of Americanos deposited there in 2009.

Now, roughly six months from Election Day, I fear my friend was right. Financial donors...
