Even if Obama was born in Hawaii, he still does not meet the qualification as a "natural born" citizen as his father never was a citizen of the United States. It is well documented that in the Founders mind a natural born citizen is one who is born to parents, both of which are citizens of the United States at the time of his/her birth.
Why do criminals get better treatment than our military personnel? When I was aboard ship there could be up to over 100 people in one berthing compartment, stacked three to five high. 3'X6'X3' was all the space an enlisted had to sleep in aboard ship, and sometimes you had to share it with someone else on a different shift. I think the real problem is separating the hard core criminals, especially violent offenders from those who commit nonviolent crimes. That is what the criminal justice system is for; to strip individuals convicted of these crimes of their rights. Even the right to life.
When has any Progressive, Democratic or Republican given more than shallow lip service to the Constitution???

The church has gone through this cultural shift many times since the times of Christ. A good book to understand all of this is R.C. Sproul's "The Consequences of Ideas: Understanding the Concepts That Shaped Our World" It is a basic over view of philosophy from Thales and Pythagoras to Nietzche, Sartre, Marx, and Freud. Another is "Seven Men Who Rule From The Grave" by David Breese. Or Francis Schaffer's many works???his "A Christian Manifesto" is a must read. How many even know of the major doctrinal debates down through the Centuries??? Predestination vs. free will, Calvinism vs. Palagianism or semi-Palagianism?? A hint Augustine of Hippo argued against the heresy of Palagius (original sin or not original sin; man is born into sin...
When you do not speak out to condemn a heinous abominable act you are tacitly condoning it. But then how many Muslims openly celebrated the great triumph over the Great Satan on 9/11/2001???
Or just remember that thoughtless Western couple who had the audacity to kiss in public....that went over like a pulled pork sandwich at an Orthodox Jewish wedding.

This is kind of like a beef I have now. I moved back to Florida since I retired from the Navy because I liked the people and the culture I experienced when I was stationed here. But now so many damn Yanks have moved down here expecting everyone down here to do things the same way they were used to it being back in New York, New Jersey, Chicago. I got into it with one senior who complained about the slower pace down here...he was used to doctors seeing him right when his appointment was. I informed him he was in the South now and things work a bit different down here than back in the Windy City. If he didn't like it and didn't want to adapt to it he can just pack back up and get the Hades back to Chicago. I mean, I didn't like being in...

Actually Fascism isn't rightwing. It may have some facade of being rightwing. Fascism is socialism, just as progressivism is socialism. They all have the same goal. Government control of everything, and every aspect of our lives. Progressives want government control of everything because the unwashed masses are too stupid to know what is best for them. Fascism approaches the same from a Nationalistic starting point. And Socialism is the unwashed masses taking over everything for the "common good" but they are all led by the same snobbish elites who think they know what's best for everyone else.

I grew up with this in a very personal way. I was placed in a foster home when I was 10. Both of my foster-parents where first generation American born Dutch. Some of my foster-mother's older siblings had actually been born in the Netherlands. But their parents understood that for their children to do well in this country they had to be fluent in English, not Dutch. So English was spoken in the home. My foster-mother's mother, my grootmoeder, a kind and loving woman I will always cherish, studied hard to learn English so she could write to her sons who were serving this country during WWII. She had a thick Dutch brogue, but her family had worked hard to become a part of THIS country while also keeping a part of their Dutch heritage.
