The Tea Party group "The Arizona 2012 Project" has taken hundreds of citizens, candidates, and politicians to visit the real border, to talk with ranchers and residents on that porous border, and - initially - to briefings at the formerly named Naco Border Patrol Station. As we were on our way to our third visit / briefing, we received a phone call from the U.S. Border Patrol advising us that subsequently all visits must be cleared with Ms. Napolitano's office in advance. Must I say that we were never thereafter given permission? Folks, it's nasty down there. Over 120 verified, cartel observation posts have been identified in Southern Arizona, between the border and Interstate 10. Farsi graffiti at some. We are defenseless.
