I'm a pacifistic American patriot, seeing my freedoms fall one by one...All because we don't know how to use our God given rights, instead of ignoring them. It comes to such as this, when we are indoctrinated by the media and our schools. Some laws must be enforced just to protect those of us who otherwise would be the victim of one such person ignoring the reasonable law(s) of the land. Note: I said "reasonable." You do know this subject is about drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter, right? Let's see what you say if it's your son, daughter, or relative in the hospital or morgue due to an impaired driver.....

........And doesn't know it, recognize it, or admit it. "Don't let your friends drive drunk!" And bartenders, be aware of how much consumption your patrons have......it could come back a bite you.....

It's a sorry state we have come to in America that these "alcohol/drugs" checkpoints have to be implemented. Now alcohol, no drugs, no contraband.....and you're on your way!

Just one "jolly" off the road, means many less accident patients in hospitals, or six feet under!

Make it so simple a moron, opps, new driver can understand and appreciate the consequences. And then enforce them!!!

We're not sellin' here, we're supposed to be THINKING and ACTING, according to our abilities to do so! Thanks, Chuck! As a child of two alcoholics, and the sister of another, I cringe when I see an obviously impaired driver on the road. And how many don't "show" it, until it's too late. Hope you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and could, for awhile forget all the mess we're in. And have a blessed new Year of Our Lord, 2011!
