The American public (including myself) got fooled by Jimmy Carter. He was a Christian man who wanted to restore integrity to the White House after Nixon/Ford. What we got was incompetence, pandering to our enemy; who instead of liking us more, saw weakness and exploited it. We got a terrible economy and the "misery index". We were told Obama was a centrist who would restore bi-partisianship and heal racial divides. Instead the ball got jerked away, and we are falling on our backs with no bi-partisanship and the worst racial divides in my lifetime. Our enemies (think Iran) see us as weak and are ready to exploit us again. The old expression "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" comes to mind. Wake up...
