Maybe she needed to take time to really think about what was going on around her. At any rate, there may be redemption for mistaken voters. I hope so.

Actually Alex Jones is both; "embarrassing" and "food for thought". I liked the way he went up against Piers Morgan. I'm glad he immediately went on the offensive to state his views. On the other hand, Alex Jones can also track into areas of fringe thinking. He can also be a drama queen.

I don't know about "rigged" except for those ugly precincts in places like Philadelphia where he received 100% of the vote. He did lose voters from 2008, which is good. He did lose some of his momentum. But he kept enough of the dumb people who voted for him.....and dumb they are. One of the talk shows in Texas interviewed a woman - on every single issue her views did not correspond with those of Obama - BUT SHE VOTED FOR HIM ANYWAY.

There is some truth to this - the wild-eyed following from unthinking people. The slavering desire for a mere man to fix everyone's problems. If the US economy collapses due to our debt, there will be an even greater call for such a person to step forward.

This has been noted - there is something about the atmosphere in Washington that seems to take the knife edge off of all but the most committed conservatives. That is why conservatives have to hound their elected representatives and hold their feet to the fire.
