It hasn't surprised me that in the last couple of days that many of the older people that we have come in contact with have said that they are glad that they are way out instead of their way in, but feel very bad for their children and grandchildren.

I hope not, but you might be right. Unfortunatley I failed to ask any of them, but knowing a couple of them as neighbors I don't think some of them did. Oh well, we are all temporary anyway.

I know some of mine did. I've got one that has disowned me & refuses to let me even contact my grandchildren. I think it's some form of insanity. I feel bad for my grandchildren because they're too young to understand what this is all about & by the time they are of age, it'll be a fiat accompli. They'll never know or understand what was lost for them.
