This is taking "women's rights" to a criminal degree. In the third trimester, there is the mother's body and the baby's body. "A woman can do what she wants with her body"--- (actually no---there are laws against prostitution, drug abuse, selling organs etc) but in these cases, there is another body involved. Being a woman doesn't give you the right to kill a viable infant.
There was not one reason given why a woman might find herself waiting THIS LONG to decide to have an abortion. Are they brain-dead? Don't you know after 6 months whether you are pregnant or not, and want an abortion or not? Once the fetus is viable, then he is definitely a person (if not before, but that's a whole other argument). Only if, at the third trimester, it is discovered that the woman's life is endangered, there is no reason for partial-birth, late-term abortions. Kermit Gosnell ran a filthy clinic and endangered women, mostly minorities, even making them leave before they were recovered. An abortion in the second trimester is dangerous to the mother---let alone the third trimester. If a mother cannot care for the baby, why not chose adoption?
Photographic bias. It's another ploy of the leftist media to trick people Unfortunately too many people can't figure out that the photo is a 12 year old Trayvon and he was 17 at the time.

A later story reports that the juror's words were taken out of context. She was semi-repeating the question that was asked of her and that's all the media reported. Another lib media distortion.
The basic unit of all societies is the family, not the school. The deterioration of the family in some elements of our society with the inherent addictions, crime, violence, poverty and abuse cannot be compensated for by schools alone. The past forty years have seen schools being overburdened as our other basic institutions such as the family, the community and the church (where children learned morals, values and principles) decline or fail. Lowering the academic standards for some groups will not succeed for many reasons but primarily because the problems are not generated in the schools and the real problems are not being addressed.
In California, Asians must achieve a substantially higher SAT score than other races to be admitted to their colleges.
Absolutely. This inevitably leads to lowering competency levels on the job and/or not hiring minorities because they do not meet the regular standards. A loser either way.

Good points. I think the primary season should be shortened and possibly the convention should be sooner so the GOP funds can be released before the other candidate has already run so many disparaging, negative ads that the GOP nominee can never undo them or catch up.

This election was a great loss for America. Mitt Romney is an extremely competent, intelligent, good and wise man. During the campaign I wondered why such a man would even want to be president, having to tolerate extreme distortions of his character and words. He ran because he truly wanted to help America, not for self aggrandizement or to grab power. What a shame. Not for him, for us.

The use of "gentleman" as you described has bothered me for years. I even hear policemen use it as," the gentleman was arrested when he was caught beating his wife." This is no gentleman! I remember when politicians who were caught in some immoral or shameful act would act remoreseful and slink away where they should be! Now they hold their heads up and carry on while our adolescent culture is diverted by a new celebrity event! We are a nation of children who holds no one accountable. Too bad for the victims.
