if this were a pre-election article i'd be all gung-ho on the premise -- but the premise has changed -- that americans are "uneasy about it" and/or "wise to it," when, in fact, they are not. there have been some polls showing (bias as they may be and just plain false in some cases, but that doesn't stop legislation building upon it) that there is growing favor of the law. PERCEPTION IS REALITY. as long as "the polls show it" it must be so. and so i conclude w/my usual that americans are more stupid today then ever because when you have almost 300 years of documented american government you have great lessons to draw upon and so far, we have endeavored to recommit the same losers.

Blah blah blah, more self-indulgent hand-wringing because Romney lost. Do you feel good about going around demoralizing other conservatives? What you say is utter garbage, and you are stabbing your country in the back in saying it. Square yourself away, show some positive attitude, or shut the blazes up.

suz is right, Wendy. You obviously missed the post by OL1, and this is the type of mentality we now have to face. Folks like OL1 breed more of the same; clueless, stupid people who have now learned they can vote themselves all the freebies in the world as long as they vote democrat. And those folks are gaining in numbers. The 2012 election is all the proof I need ot know the truth of suz's statements.

the people: "what have you given us mr. franklin?"

mr. franklin: "a republic, IF YOU CAN KEEP IT."

Americans know instinctively that when liberals start talking about deficit reduction that’s it’s just a case of the fantods, as Huckleberry Finn would say. And say what you will about old Huck, but he knew a couple of frauds when he saw them.

No matter what liberal “Wonks” like Ezra Klein say about the historically dumb healthcare “reform” known as Obamcare, Americans are uneasy about it.

And they should be.

The best thing- as Democrat strategist James Carville admitted last year- that could have happened for the Democrats is for the Supreme Court to have tossed out the...
