bho never swore to uphold the constitution. last inaugural he "flubbed" it -- it was deemed not taken, so he took it again the next morning. g-d only knows what he swore to. WHERE ARE THE JOURNALISTS/REPORTERS/POLITICIANS ASKING/DEMANDING THIS BE TAKEN IN FULL VIEW OF THE COUNTRY? what is the law on this? THIS PRESIDENT IS ON THE WRONG SIDE, PEOPLE.

Can we please not resort to knee-jerk reactions? BHO is not the first president elect to take the oath in private and he probably won't be the last. Ronald Reagan took the oath for his second term in private on a Sunday also. We conservatives need to get our collective act together, and pouncing on every little detail doesn't do the trick. Neither does name-calling or fixating on talking points from Fox news. People on both sides of the political fence are behaving as parrots, repeating phrases they've been taught. A nation of parrots deserves just the mess we've got, so let's do something about it.

And with that, the swearing in of the president will happen in private.

Since inauguration day takes place on a Sunday (of course, the 20th of January) a public "ceremonial" inauguration will take place on Monday, January 21st. However, the actual...
