20a. this country has faced innumerable embarrassing moments since this president...innumerable. great article, like most, a keeper.

so having understood history in this very key way, you'd think our politicians would have learned, but they are what they are which is a set who are not fit to govern because they've not learned a damn thing. the chances are high they never knew what mr. sowell has explained here. i admit i did not know but a politician has no excuse. it's the people who are flawed for enabling and maintaining our politicians/criminals.

the above is why we need an independent party. be it libertarian or just plain independent. rand paul, allen west, herman cain, michelle bachman, mike lee and dr. ben carson would be a good start.
