I think it's the other way around. Being Liberal won't make you that way. I know plenty of Liberals who are not that way at all, but I think having those traits would tend to make a person inclined to be Liberal. I know conservatives who are lazy, snot-nosed punks, I just know less of them. Also most of the people I know like that are under 30, or 26 if they are women. Surprise, surprise many young people are Liberal, and many actually grow more Conservative as they get older. I don't think being Liberal will make someone have those traits anymore than I think attending NASCAR will make someone Conservative or adopt those ideals.

The more completely a person, group, or organization embraces liberalism, the less virtuous it becomes. It's almost like a mental sickness in that respect. People or groups who are lightly infected can soldier on without having it eat them alive. However, the deeper the sickness goes, the more it changes them. Eventually the liberal disease inside of people can grow so much that it warps their morals, their religious beliefs, and their way of thinking until they can no longer tell right and wrong.
