Follow Herbert Croley and John Deweys' ideas to their logical conclusion and we find the ultimate progressive, liberal utopia is The Matrix. A place where you don't have to think for yourself and have no responsibility of even being anything and you are fed; both food and a fake reality. Freedom from being is not freedom it is death.

Unless I was on someone's private property, I would never submit to questioning by a private citizen posing as a quasi policeman nor allow them to assume they can detain me in any way. That is one of the most dangerous thought processes I can imagine. Think about it; anyone with a two cent badge saying they are a neighborhood watch person can stop and question you as you walk down the street? Scary.

It's called neighborhood WATCH. If you SEE something you call the police. Zimmerman had no right to question Martin.

ALAY wrote: "The poor are all ignorant and lives lives of resentment and cherish ignorance. ugh...But this drivel plays so well to older whites who cannot understand why they are forced to share "their" America." Yes, many ignorant people do cherish that ignorance; they are afraid perhaps of changing, they are afraid if others become educated it will highlight their ignorance, etc. But what is harder to understand are people like you who deny that there is a problem or just don't want to see what the problem is. Wherever you are going (be it education or helping the poor), you can only get there from where you are (by seeing the truth and finding solutions that use that truth). Walter and Theodore are telling us where we are (the truth).
Reporting from Wisconsin: We are cautiously optimistic about keeping Gov Walker. Almost all of the noise is coming from the opposition. The rest of us are easily identifyable by our quiet resolution. A perfect example would be the front page of today's local paper: a picture of people holding recall signs, mouths open, teeth showing, arms waving and, opposite that, a picture of people holding "Stand With Walker" signs, mouths closed, eyes focused, chins firm. We will stand at the bullwarks letting the chaos wash over us until we can vote our duly elected Governor into office again on June 05.
That last line is so hyperbolic it's comedy. Thankfully, you can't vote in our election.

Another fun thing to do at a gun show: walk up behind loser making machine gun and helicopter sounds to Vietnam vets and let loser hear the sound of your gun cocking, up close and personal make sure you plug your nose first But I like the idea of watching him get his face rearranged too!
