The mind reels at what Pres. Obama might have done if he liked working more! He should take more time off, perhaps retire, write books, golf, organize something....
Actually James, the only reason we aren't in worse shape is because President Obama took so much time off to play golf. The mind reels at all the things he might have done if he liked working more.
Let's assume that the phrase "acts of terror" was inclusive. Romney was wrong. The real question is: The president has top level clearance for and access to the most recent intel. Why then did he and his administration continue condeming the movie for the next two weeks? Surely, he had information within 24 hours that debunked that theory? The president has taken an oath to unhold the constitution. Why would he apologize for a citizen's free speech? We don't condone acts of terror and we don't apologize for our citizens exercising their right of free speech. Could it be this administration wanted to distract the American people from looking into the debacle that is Libya? The Wizard Of Oz is alive an well and living in the White House
Read George Gilders article "Romney, Bain and Me" on the American Spectator. Mitt Romney has the skill set necessary to understand what needs to be done and implement change that will help jump start the economy. He needs the Senate and House to do it.
This morning on MSNBC, David Axelrod talked about the Dem Convention strategy and the fact that Obama will not be giving specifics but only broad outlines of his plans for the next four years. Mitt gave a very nice outline of his five steps and that is all any nominee ever does. Romney critics are being hypocrites and hoping that voters won't notice the Dems doing the same. Perhaps hoping the soaring oratory will cover for lack of details?

What does balancing your personal budget accomplish?
Partly because many of us think; "somebody will do something", the politicians think they can blame it on someone else, and the rest of us are too busy working and trying to save privately for our own retirement. Eventually, the government is going after all of that private retirement money. They'll have to for the "common good".

Haven't we heard all of our lives, people like Pres. Obama, telling others that their failures are not their own faults? Perhaps he feels he received unearned success. Part of him must be in awe that his schtick has worked and he is where he is and part of him must believe that his failures were never his fault.

The Obamas believe in the "pie" theory. Michelle talks about giving more people a piece of the pie. In her and Barack's world the rich are taking too large a slice. What they should be encouraging is more people learning to create their own "pie".

Follow Herbert Croley and John Deweys' ideas to their logical conclusion and we find the ultimate progressive, liberal utopia is The Matrix. A place where you don't have to think for yourself and have no responsibility of even being anything and you are fed; both food and a fake reality. Freedom from being is not freedom it is death.
