When Obama opined about identifying "dangerous people" in relation to gun control, I knew that this could happen. When the state deems it has the authority to determine who's dangerous and who's not, watch out. Hello, Germany, 1933, 1936 and 1938. It starts out slowly.
Like the "single mother" slip, this is Michelle Obama ingratiating herself and pandering to a particular voting block for her run as the U.S. Senator of Illinois after her Nobel peace prize husband has washed his hands of us when his second term is up.
Whew! Sure glad I don't have to worry about Billbag O'Wind thumping that pesky truth-teller, the Bible, in his upcoming book, Killing Jesus.
Hmmm. I thought evolution was supposed to take place over millions of years and occurred as a result of aberrational mutations. I wonder if that's the case here.
So in other words, whichever way it rules or doesn't rule, the court will do a full weenie, refusing to stand up for traditional marriage, in favor of popular culture. My, that's something to admire.
The map also, IMO, explains political dynamics taking place in certain states. Those moving from blue states are taking their blue voting tendencies with them. Colorado, now controlled by Democrats, has legalized pot and has embraced same-sex marriage. Nevada, despite its high unemployment, continues to reelect Harry Reid, the standard-bearer of Obama's anti-business, jobs-killing policies. Washington, already blue, has reinforced its blue voter numbers and legalized pot. California, despite losing people, is still overwhelmingly liberal and has many more people to transplant to other states to influence their politics. Why do you think the Democrats are now hoping to turn red state Texas into the blue column?
Thanks for posting this so I can share it on Twitter and Facebook. Saw it over the weekend and thought it was excellent, as are most of his opening comments.
Spot on, Kirk 72, spot on.
So why do I not take anything seriously that Miss Gung-Ho-For-Moderates says these days?? Hmmm. I wonder. Already on Yahoo today, there's a story: "Coulter turns on Rubio." What? For not being conservative enough? Really? We're supposed to believe her?

The issues surrounding the Native American community are thorny. And so, even as a conservative, as I read this article, I am brought to tears as I remember Dee Brown's Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, and wonder, what is really the right thing to do?
So, it's official: the President really wants to raise taxes on two-hundred-and-fifty-thousandaires, and not just millionaires and billionaires. The two-bill idea forces the Democrats and Obama to own the tax hike.
