Ronald Wilson Reagan was an inigma: he supported Barry Goldwater for president but as Governor of Taxafonia he was instrumental in raising taxes for all Californians during his two terms as Governor. As president he lit the fuse to the congressional debt rocket that pierced through the Trillion Dollar national debt ceiling. Neocon shills like Sham Hamitty draw Wilson Reagan like a six gun. Hannity and O'Reilly and others use his image as the ideal Republican despite the fact that Wilson Reagan, even after leaving the Dem Party considered FDR as a hero! Under RWR there was no revolution back to fiscal sanity. Federal debts and deficits ballooned under Reagan. No department was abolished. Business as usual.

Lenin issued his directive to disarm fellow Russian citizens. The results of that mistake by Russians was costly. Ukranian farmers were starved to death for refusing Lenin farm care. Uncle Joe Stalin, as FDR loved to address him, committed genocide against the Kulaks in the 1930s - 6 million died. The model for 1968 Gun Control Act – even the wording was taken from Hitler's legislation of 1938, which was a revision of the 1928 law passed by the Weimar government. La Pierre has yet to explain why that onerous act is still on the books when he has at his disposal 3 million members and millions of dollars at his disposal.

That depends on your definition of "what 'is' is." "Militia" as defined by an 19th century dictionary versus a redefined version that lays at the desk of a 21st century ACLU lawyer. Two exact opposite meanings. Naturally those that want "militia" to mean the state guard have leverage to use the new definition to take down the 2nd amendment. But the orginal version of militia meant the "militia" was the aggregate of men trained in the use of weapons. The malicious reinterpretaion is just part of the war of words.Liberals and antigun fans prefer that we too use their definitions not the definition used during the Independence era..

La Pierre went to Washington to speak to members of the House Judiciary to tell them that he supports 'GUN FREE ZONES" type laws in public campuses. His recent public news conference does not mention that he testified in favor of them in 1999. http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/judiciary/hju63126.000/hju63126_0.htm Scroll to page 117

Have you heard that the NRA was in favor of "Gun Free Zones?" La Pierre offered testimony in congress favoring them in 1999. >>>http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/judiciary/hju63126.000/hju63126_0.htm page 117

Actually, the NRA is confused about what to do. Wayne LaPierre testified before a committee of congress in 1999 favoring GUN FREE ZONES." { page 117 on this link: http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/judiciary/hju63126.000/hju63126_0.htm Now Mr. LaPierre is recommending doing away with them and putting in fed funded armed personnel! From the frying pan into the fire or vice versa? But it seems to me by the NRA behavior pattern that the misguided organizers areleadding 3 million members toward a police state like setting around public schools. Theyrecommeded truning then into shotting galleries and now that the shootings have reached crisis proportions in steps the NRA with calls for funding from the feds.
