I have not seen a lurch to the left. Obama by any intelligent measurement is a moderate. I am not a Republican or a Democrat because I have severe issues with both parties. One of the worst things that both parties do is what is demonstrated here: demonization and hyperbole with very little fact. Congress has done nothing but block the country's forward movement on nearly every front. The only bills they can pass are bills that forbid the passage of other bills.
