before we declare a war on guns, we should look at our "success" rate with the war on drugs. it ain't happenin. people keep on dying. guns are not the problem - people are the problem. and church is not a cure-all by any means. neither is locking up everyone with a mental illness. and i don't necessarily blame tv and video games, although they certainly don't add to any solution. remember the days of prohibition? people fell all over each other to read the news of the insanity that went along with that, as well as watching the movies that glorified it, and society at large did not disintegrate. people are just too BUSY to listen to the people - especially our kids - who need to be LISTENED to.
i have a relative in that area who told me that the black people there were being interviewed on tv before obama's first election because Obama was going "to pay off their mortgages and cars and they were finally going to be rich". the fact that they KEEP ON electing these a**clowns is a real mystery to me. they must be broadcasting subliminal messages saying "who are you gonna believe? me or your lyin eyes?"
if i may refine your statement a little bit i would change the wording to "terminate THEM' and then stop there.

i just found this site this evening, and immediately signed up. i do not drink the obama kool-aid either and just can't fathom why so many do. i am a veteran of the military myself, and am now on social security, which i understand will also be witheld, along with the pay of the military. no cutbacks, however, on those decision deficit disordered individuals who make these outrageous decisions. life ain't fair -- but the fair only comes around once a year anyway. and it doesn't come to the USA anymore EVER.

Lance8762 can't help himself because he is (or was) CLEARLY a proud member of MarineCorps!!! OOORAH I spent a couple of months in a program with members of all the armed forces and those Marine guys were the most respectful dudes i ever met. i almost joined the Marines myself, but was a little intimidated so joined another branch (who shall remain anonmyous here) but in retrospect, am thinking i would have been a helluva lot safer with the Marines. I now shout out theh OOORAH everytime i see one. luv ya lance!

I first "threw paint on the Mona Lisa" and "put a bumper sticker on a Jaguar" back in 1972 when pretty much only bikers had them. But that was long before i had any idea that i WAS a Mona Lisa or a Jaguar. Although i must say that the look on my mother's face was absolutely priceless!
