Leave Business-Bashing to the Liberals

The seventh district of Virginia is rated as Republican + 10, which means that there are few low information voters and many well-informed voters. Virginia 7 understands that if the U S Chamber of Commerce gets its comprehensive immigration reform passed that it will be the end of our teetering constitutional republic, traded away for 30 pieces of silver. An abject betrayal by the crony capitalists of all the selfless patriots in our history. They should be deeply, deeply ashamed.

Exactly....Chavez is not a credible source on immigration...she clearly is pro-amnesty.

No Men Left Behind?

This swap was about having plausible deniability in terms of leaving no man behind. After all, when Hillary runs aren't folks going to charge her and the Dems about leaving men on the battlefield in Benghazi ? And just who was it that had this very secret meeting at the White House about 10 days ago? Omigosh, I think it was the forementioned putative candidate, Hillary. I wonder if the the prospective swap was discussed? Nothing to see here, folks. Just move along.
Sen. Graham says that they will impeach him if he does it again. Wow! Am I impressed ! What's wrong with impeaching him now, Senator ? Talk about no stones. This is why America is dying. No enforcement of the law or the Constitution by the milquetoast political class.
Exchanging for Bergdahl is all about providing cover on Benghazi. Clinton and the lefties are vulnerable to the charge that they view Americans as expendable because they left warriors on the battlefield unsupported. Every time they are charged with that, they will trot out the Bergdahl counterpoint.
Dude...You need a long, hard look in the mirror. When you do, you'll see yourself and your soulmate Harry Reid... obstructionists, angry intolerant people who care more about winning like high school kids, rather than being seen as rational, competent adults.
Counter-attack is the way to go. The Democrat brand must be damaged to the point where it is a parity with the Republican brand. Attack with the litany of lefty failures, as shame does work. Create your own list..here are a few starters. Fatherless minority homes due to welfare. Raped Social Security Trust fund due to profligate spending. Monochrome cities due to forced busing. Destroyed housing values due to the lowered lending standards of the C.R.A. Impoverished cities due to excessive taxation/regulation (see Detroit) Premature deaths due to ACA "Death panels" (see Veteran's Hospitals)
Your analysis fits him perfectly, as well as it fits his soulmate, the President.
Two elements of contemporary society which bear on his egoistic narcissism are Political Correctness and Affirmative Action. He has been praised, rather than criticized at every juncture, even while making blatantly incorrect judgments about the nature of man, economics, morality, government structure and strategic balance. When there are rewards rather than consequences for grossly incompetent thinking and policies, its easy to understand why he would reject evidence in favor of his own flawed ideologies.
It is Solomonic for someone in a left-leaning state, to vote for a pro-life federal candidate, but a pro-choice state candidate. True Constitutionalists do recognize that the social issues are to be decided in the various states. So says the 10th amendment. 'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.' Its like the aphorism, "Having the best of both worlds." Not so bad...and far better than electing more Obamas.
Larry, This column is a sellout to the Chamber of Commerce oligarchs. Previously, the elites could have blown this smoke at the Middle Class and they may have succeeded, but its a different day, too many of the Republican base are paying attention. I'll point to the number of white voters who stayed home on election day in 2008. There's little doubt that it was the critical difference in that election. Offering this kind of slop will cause more to stay home in 2016 and beyond......many more.
