What damage are you talking about? The fact that children who attend Head Start show no improvement over their peers after two years means nothing. The point is to fund a program despite its uselessness.

You never answered your question--what damage? Its not Head Start. The answer is that every family has only one parent (usually a working mother) and that parent abdicates their responsibility of rasing the next generation to socialist elitist strangers who teach their children in our nation's manufactury of echos.
If we do not stem the tide of the steady stream of the illiberally educated we will return to this spot every 20 years.
This country is at a historic crossroads, and the path we choose can determine our future far beyond the next four years. Our children and grandchildren may someday bless us or curse us for what we do this Tuesday.
