I disagree. GE shareholders are likely to benefit from continued government contracts helped along by their gregarious boss. Bringing home the bacon makes Immelt even more powerful and adored. Taxpayers will be the losers if those government contracts are just more pork. Question: Do you think Immelt requests reimbursement for his expenses when he attends the Jobs Council meetings?
