This is just one of a long, long list of blunders, lies, and miscellaneous sleaziness from the Obama administration. The Republicans could not have wished for an easier target, but so far they have not laid a glove on Obama. Instead, the Republicans are trying to decide if they will cater to "conservatives" (a sect that votes according a candidate's stands on abortion and gay marriage), or if they design and build a coalition of fiscally conservative social agnostics (the numbers of which might actually win elections). I'm ready to vote for the first candidate who can articulate a set of (gasp!) principles starting with "I choose freedom of the individual over government intrusion" and "I follow the Constitution as written and duly amended".

What is the agenda?? What will having a man without conscience who is obligated and will follow orders (possibly illegal) from Obama's regime portend for society? Is this how the Gestapo evolved? Vast power in the hands of the ethics-challenged...

Tommy, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you are one of the above-mentioned conservatives.

You may be surprised to learn that many people who do not call themselves conservatives, for instance libertarians like me, actually have a conscience, morals, ethics, etc. - we just don't insist on imposing our morals - which may be quite different from yours - on otherwise law-abiding citizens.

And I, for one, am not willing to have this country continue its plunge into an amoral, socialist cesspool because I demand to address insoluble issues such as abortion, gay marriage, and immigration before we work on certain other issues for which there is dire need AND consensus of a voting majority.
