BO delivered a bounty of economic failures to the GOP but he won won re-election anyway. It could be that 51% of the country is intellectually incapable of linking economic causes and effects, or it could be that the GOP is intellectually incapable of forming a message. Either way, Ransom's quote is more of the same schtick. It's possible that things get so bad that the Dems concede the next presidency, but a smart GOP would repackage itself with new ideas, and new ways to present those ideas to what seems to be a majority of slack-jawed yokels.
