We have been taught by the liberal trolls on this site that raising an argument with any factual, theoretical, philosophical, logical, or empirical merit does little more than draw ad hominen responses. It's not worth the effort. Even my highly intelligent, well-intentioned liberal friends have trouble discussing ideas that threaten the vague comfort they draw from the idea that they live on the moral high ground. Their first inclination when questioned is anger.
