MSNBC Host: Gun Control in Chicago Doesn't Even Exist

Of course, Schultz is right, though completely by accident. Though there are a bazillion gun control laws in Chicago, they may as well not exist. Any kid past third grade knows that laws and rules only point out what a majority deem acceptable behavior or conduct. They produce neither conformity to them nor the desire to do so. Government could pass laws every day from now until the end of creation and not make a whit of difference in lessening the impact of the rot and poison of the putrid cultural stew they have been cooking for the past 60 years. Laws are passed with the assumption that society is lawful and will obey them. If they have not learned by now that criminals are by definition not obedient to laws, they never will.

a gun-free-zone is an area that rolls out a red carpet to cowardly murderers.

I was thinking the same thing. He!!, every two-bit criminal and wannabe thug owns a piece, despite some of the most stringent anti-gun laws anywhere. The only unarmed people are the victims. Sgt. Schultz is right – these laws might as well not even exist!

The gun laws and the gun violence in Chicago is a helluva lot different than it is in New York City. There's two different worlds when it comes to gun violence, it's not even close. New York City is not, you know, an all-safe...
