First of all Troubled, the Clarus Research Group is based in Washington DC. That in itself discredits your argument. Second, the group that being in based in DC it wouldn't be unusual for unusual for the area polling sample to favor the Ravens, as Baltimore is "right up the road" from DC. Third, and most important is that football fans do not choose teams to root for based on political affiliation. They don' t care if the city their teams play in are liberal or not. Where it comes to being a fan, football always trumps politics.
