The works of Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and Larry Elder should be required reading and teaching to all schools from high school to college. ESPECIALLY in the community that is populated by Americans of African descent.

I hope they unleash charter (or any other independent from unions) school and parents will be able to chose decent education for their kids, without being forced to pay taxes AND private schools fees. I am no teacher, but I leafed through some books and textbooks... drivel and lies. And, of course, Stossel made excellent program on education, I think in the wake of Walker recall in WA. "A mind is the terrible thing to waste" should be every school's motto, instead "Dear leader" North Korean-style singing and dancing under Obama portrait.

Won't happen. In most schools that are primarily black, the teachers wouldn't consider Sowell, Williams, and Elder to be black people. Why should they indoctrinate their students with the writings of Oreos and House Negroes? They'd be more likely to use the works of the great blacks of our time. You know--Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson and the like.

Obama did not simply happen to encounter a lot of people on the far left fringe during his life. As he spells out in his book, he actively sought out such people. There is no hint of the slightest curiosity on his part about other visions of...
