CNBC Poll: 75% Agree With Romney's 47% Comments

Unfortunately I have to agree with you, DCR. Obama will probably win. And that in itself proves that people who have "no skin in the game" (those who don't pay tax or who have served in the military) should not be afforded the right to vote. Those who pay no taxes should not be permitted to choose who governs over those who do. People will always vote based on what they can get for free. Handouts and redistribution of other people's wealth are the equivalent of crack. It is how the Democrats keep the poor addicted to them. What Romney said is 100% correct, no matter how its said.

The Founding Fathers would not agree with you. They went to America to get away from that type of thinking.

This is ridiculous. Over 800 Millionaires in this country pay no taxes. Tens of thousands of recent veterans currently disabled and living on VA benefits or going to school pay no federal taxes. Thousands and Thousands of aged pay little or no federal taxes. You want to disenfrancise all of these? What is wrong with you people?

Where is your compassion? Wouldn't you want everyone to be willing to pay $1.00 to the best country God ever allowed man to create on this planet? What would be wrong with that? And make that dollar tax voluntary and see how it works because people know a real bargain when they see it!

It isn't true. We all pay taxes one way or another.. and I bet more rich people vote Democratic than Republican.

UPDATE: The number of people who have taken the CNBC poll has doubled, bringing those who agree with Romney's comments to 76 percent.

As the faux outrage over Mitt Romney's "47%" comments continue to barrel through the airwaves of the old media, a CNBC poll shows 75 percent of voters believe Mitt Romney was right when he said Obama supporters will vote for him no matter what due to dependence on the government.
