Romney's strategy: step 1 -- call 47% of the American people deadbeats, including the 28.3% who pay payroll tax, but not income tax due to excessive withholding. Because nothing says lazy like agricultural, construction, or manufacturing work! Get a job where you have to do real work, like playing with spreadsheets in Excel! (see: http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/taxtopics/federal-taxes-households.cfm) My God, Romney is such a fool.

That 28% paying payroll taxes get all that money plus much more back when they file a tax return, due to tax credits. Paying and then getting the money back does not add money to the government coffers, you moron. Then every dollar they get someone like me has to provide the fed so it can be distributed to the freeloaders. Well, I for one, am tired of carrying all these freeloaders on my back.

To say nothing of the fact that the federal government has hundreds of thousands of people employed to rake in their revenue, and process it and then turn around and issue REBATES... this is stupid and wasteful... backbiting about who pays what, and who benefits and all the other garbage is just a waste of time... its a broken system and people are gaming the feds in all the social programs except those for retirees and soldiers ... its broken and it needs to be fixed, not manipulated and the circle jerk, snake oil you leftist, big government idiots have going on.

Tax code needs to be revamped ... I'm not unhappy that I'm paying taxes, but I would be happy to see a flat tax.... we NEED tax reform.

So stop whining and sniveling.

@Stoic Punchdrunk Patriot

47% who will vote the color of skin, instead of the contents of the character. Every producer in America (of which you obviously are not one) knows Romney is NOT insulting them... in fact, he wasn't insulting anyone, he was discussing the hard fact that stupidity and racism are in play on the left ... EVERYONE knows that .... let's see who wins in November before we start seeing who the real COWBOYS are.. Dude!

Romney wants to restore dignity to all Americans - restore the reason people love being
American - restore strength to our nation's economy - which will give everyone a better chance at being happy and solvent - give everyone a fair chance by increasing jobs and stability to our national security - a country in serious debt - is a country in serious danger.

BOSTON, Mass. – Behind the façade of a nondescript building in Beantown’s north end, Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign headquarters is buzzing with activity. Campaign placards, detailed maps of swing state media markets, and other flair adorn the walls. Recycling bins are loaded with telltale empty cans of diet soda. Caffeine might as well be oxygen here. Televisions in the rapid response bullpen are tuned to President Obama’s latest speech in Ohio. As the president thunders about “roads and bridges,” aides watch attentively, exchanging notes and coordinating the campaign’s reaction in real time. Columns of cubicles break up the expansive ground...
