DB07: You replied to me, "I think you have a point, stillstanding. My take is a little different; Obama is competitive and wants to win....but he really doesn't want to be President for 4 more years." I see a LOT of people all over the Internet who fully agree with you that Obama does NOT want four more years of the job. He might just, possibly subconsciously, thus be sabotaging his own re-election campaign.

Good Morning StillStanding.......obama is nothing more than a stupid, ignorant spoiled brat and his illiteracy about all things including but not limited to Economics and Foreign policy is outstanding. I personally care NOTHING whatsoever about his narcissistic need to win.....and surely our beloved USA cannot afford one bit to care about his sociopathic need to win.

The current Syrian/Iran conflict is beyond the pale scary and there we have a moron prez pretending to know what he is doing. Also, same can be said about our current Secretary of State.

You're right, why settle for the Presidency, Obama wants to be ruler of the world.

The top line is only 47 percent for Romney compared to 46 percent for Obama, but that's among registered -- not likely -- voters with a D/R/I sample breakdown of 33/26/41 (D+6.5).  Here are the basics, then it's all downhill from there for The One:

Forty-seven percent of registered voters nationwide who lean towards a candidate back Romney, while 46 percent support the president. Four percent are undecided. The one percentage point difference is within the survey's three point margin of error. Romney leads by eight points among men; the president leads by five points...
