Spending us into oblivion is not the solution. Bailouts either (ask Japan). Instead of dividing, how about we think through this like adults and reduce the out of control spending? Conservatives do not have an irrational hatred for Obama, but for his anti-American, progressive (a.k.a. solicialist) policies and penchant for creating class warfare. He has had his day and failed. Let's move forward for America's sake, yours and mine.

Aura, Why do people continue to blame Bush when the real spend-your-way-to-prosperity folks are the ones who run the House? Pelosi and friends ran the house from January 2007 to January 2011. Where is your anger and blame for them?

On character issues, throwing stones is always hypocritical. At least Newt freely admits his mistakes and has said he has made his peace with God and is happily married. Whenever someone steps forward to offer team-America better ideas, I'll consider giving them my precious vote, but for now it's Newt. As for all the other candidates, save Obama, God's speed and you won't hear any negative bashing from me.

I find it interesting how the pundits of press and political persuasions continue to bash the 1993 Newt, the 1995 Newt, the 1999 Newt .... and so forth, when the attacks have no basis for 2011 and its run-away government, sky rocketing debt and difficult economic times. If people cannot change their mind or strategies to address present days along with a keen sense of history (which only Newt seems to have), then we should all jump into our time machines and return to happier days, whenever those were.

If baggage were a disqualifier, than Obama's record would sink him to the lowest depths of the netherworld. The same is true of ANY MAN. Newt says he has made mistakes and has made peace with God since all the baggage occurred. It is up to us to believe him or not. If you decide to believe him, then the baggage is emptied. If not, dust off your shoes and move to the next best candidate, but don't be the one slapping labels on the luggage. If we as humans cannot grow, learn, change our minds and promote a new idea our younger selves would disagree with, then we are a hopeless race.

All you stone throwers are so righteous. I bow to you. Can we quit the infighting and talk substance? Ideas? Balancing budgets? Building economies? Lower and abolishing taxes? The best way for you Gingrich-haters to help is to positively support your candidate. Show us the positives. I want to hear it and so do needy Americans tired of the "Why This Guy Stinks" B S. Let's not be like the libs who only have character assassination as their weapon. We are better than that. Our goal to put us back on a productive path is defeating Obama, not defeating Gingrich...Romney...Paul.........
