With all the trashing of public school teachers it is nice that conservatives now trust them enough to let them carry loaded weapons into the classroom.

I don't. Most of these knuckleheads will forget where they put the sidearm and we'll end up with another tragedy. Better to do an "air marshal" type of thing. A trained individual who may be a substitute teacher or visiting administrator.

In Texas, hundreds of teachers are making the choice not to be victims. Governor Rick Perry is an advocate for teachers carrying concealed weapons in schools and some local school districts in the Lone Star State are allowing teachers to do so. As a result, free concealed carry courses are being offered to teachers and many are taking advantage.
